Comments: ARES participating with JOTA. We set up a 40 mtr CW, 40 mtr SSB, 75 mtr
SSB, WinLink, 2 mtr and 20 mtr SSB stations. There was 300-400 scouts and many visited with us as we demonstrated emergency communications and helped them make contact with other scouts.

Comments: Assisted to a small degree with Iredell County ARES at the JOTA in
Statesville NC. Learned a lot of how it was done, and what was required,
so will be better able to assist those here in home county.
Rowan County ARES has verbal agreement with KQ1E for using his repeater
145.410 Neg offset 136.5 tone located in China Grove NC for ARES operations
and training. Plan is to have a net weekly on Wednesday at 2030 local time.
Rowan Amateur Radio Society located in Salisbury NC has agreed to support
Rowan ARES in any way needed.
