 Comments:

 

Several weather events activated the skywarn nets in some counties.  These were handled wery well!!

 

The AREA 11 Quarterly Meeting was held at Shoney's on May 30th.  No cahanges were requested to be done by the Dec and he received a passing report (so far).  Carl is posting the momthly reports to the area 11 reflector.  We had a fair turn out for our meeting including Lee Price-KD4GCF, Tom Birch-K14A, Jesse Lindley-N4BFD, who spoke on the different digital modes that can be used on Amateur Radio.  We were also visited by the former NC SEC John Covington-W4CC.  Meet Started at 10am and adjourned at 1300hrs.  11 people present with 6 of those being visitors.  Thanks to all who attended.  It was decided to have at least 1 more meeting this year and possibly 2 if they can be worked in among the holiday travel etc.  Only reps from 3 area 11 counties were present which was disapointing.
