I would like to thank every one for your participation with ARES and also with the Earthquake Drill in June.  This time of year is busy with the economy, holidays, vacations, etc. which I know makes things more difficult.  Your time and efforts are deeply appreciated.

I had a chance to visit several Field Day events both in and out side Area 11.  I met and was treated very nicely by all I met.  Thank you very much!

There will be a FEMA/Homeland Security/NRC  Mcquire Nuclear Power Station Drill coming up soon and some area 11 counties will be involved.  Those that are are requested to let me know if you did participate and how many ARES members helped!  The number of Area 11 counties has not been announced publicly as of this dateC in Rowan County.  His name is Gary Lang.  Gary has numerous years working with emergency services and will be a benefit to area 11 and Rowan County.  Welcome and thank you Gary!!!!!!!

Respectfully Submitted
