Comments: Conducted Simulated Emergency Test on 12 December 09.  Simulated ice storm with 5000 people out of power. Area affected was the US 52 south corridor from Interstate 85 and US 52 down through the county line.  Event ran approximately 1 hour, had liason\'s from Iredell and Cabarrus Counties with Iredell activating their ARES net for assistance.  Event went well, with decent participation from several non-ARES amateur stations as well.
